Race, explore, feel Meizhou: 2025 Meizhou Marathon is here!

The 2025 Meizhou Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. on December 28 at People's Square in Meixian District, featuring 10,000 runners (3,000 full, 7,000 half) and a simultaneous virtual option.

The course will begin at People's Square and pass key landmarks such as Meizhou Bridge and Jianying Memorial Bridge, highlighting the city's beautiful landscapes.

This year's medal combines elements of Tulou (Hakka enclosed buildings) and plum blossoms, showcasing both Hakka heritage and Meizhou's identity as the "Hometown of Plum Blossoms." The "Hakka Red" race shirt, adorned with plum blossom patterns, symbolizes the endurance of the runners.

Beyond the race, participants can enter check-in draws for entry slots, commemorative medals, and merchant offers. A-level scenic spots across Meizhou will also provide free or discounted tickets, encouraging everyone to further explore the city and experience Hakka culture.
