"I'm very happy to be here and really looking forward to experiencing the track," he said. For Frantz, the race is more about learning than results. "I'm an amateur rider, so every race is a chance to learn something new and gain experience."
The Beijing Stone International Racing Team is also among the stronger teams competing in the event. Russian rider Matiash Aleksandr, competing in the Super Class, said he came to China at the invitation of friends.

"Our friends invited us to China to take part in the race. We arrived last weekend. Although the track is quite slippery, it's a lot of fun," he said with a smile.
The event ran through October 5, with 18 individual and team champions awarded across nine categories.
