
The "Macao Youth-China, Portuguese and Spanish-speaking Enterprises Special Internship Programme" will accept applications from June 15 to 30, offering 15 internship positions based in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
The 12-week program will assign participants to reputable companies in Hengqin that have business footprints in Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking countries and regions. Internship positions are available in areas such as business operations, human resources and administration, finance, and legal affairs.
The Macao Special Administrative Region government will provide each intern with a living allowance of 5,000 patacas every four weeks, plus a one-off allowance of 500 patacas for round-trip transportation and travel insurance. Interns will also be covered by commercial insurance and provided with accommodation and lunch subsidies during the internship. Any other personal expenses will be borne by the interns.
Applicants must be Macao residents aged 35 or under as of the application deadline, hold a valid Macao Resident Identity Card and a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (commonly known as the "Home Visit Permit"), and possess a bachelor's degree or above from a higher education institution in Macao or abroad. Prospective graduates of 2026 are also eligible to apply.
