A true taste of Chinese New Year in Chaozhou with Polish vlogger

Happy Chinese New Year! This video takes you into the heart of Chaozhou, a historic city in eastern Guangdong during this period. As a cultural center of the Chaoshan region, Chaozhou is known for its ancient architecture, refined cuisine, gongfu tea tradition, and some of southern China's best-preserved Lingnan heritage.

Following Polish vlogger Piotr Lukasz Blaszak, the journey moves from hand-making red peach rice cakes in a third-generation family shop to wandering along the lively Paifang Street, where every moment reflects the authentic rhythm of the season. Along the way, you'll find Chaoshan beef soup, lantern-making workshops, and the powerful Yingge dance. The journey ends at the historic Guangji Bridge, where centuries of culture still connect the city. It isn't staged or polished, just the Spring Festival naturally unfolding in Chaozhou, through food, craft, and everyday life.
