As the Spring Festival draws near, the festive atmosphere grows thicker by the day. To promote cultural exchanges and share the warmth of Huacheng Subdistrict with international residents in the neighborhood, the Huacheng Subdistrict Foreign Language Volunteer Service Team visited Guangzhou Sunac Resort on February 12th for a special Spring Festival greeting activity with foreign friends.

At the event, volunteers handed out a customized English guidebook (INFO Guangdong) to foreign friends, which was well-received. The guidebook covers four core sections—International Exchanges and Cooperation, Information (policies and business opportunities), Navigation (city guides and key attractions), and Facilitation (transportation). Simply scanning the QR code allows foreign friends to easily access practical information.

Meanwhile, traditional gifts imbued with Spring Festival traditions — such as Spring Festival couplets, Chinese knots and Fu stickers—were handed out to foreign friends. The red, festive New Year decorations immersed everyone in the joy and warmth of China's Spring Festival. A friend from Chile shared emotionally that he had felt the warmth and care from Huacheng Subdistrict of the Guangzhou Sunac Resort International Neighborhood.

The event brought Chinese and foreign residents together in a warm and lively atmosphere. Greetings were exchanged in Chinese, English, Spanish, and Russian—laughter filled the room. More than just a Spring Festival greeting, the activity served as a bridge for cultural exchange.

Looking ahead, the Huacheng Subdistrict Foreign Language Volunteer Service Team will continue to enhance its services to help foreign friends feel at home in Guangzhou and contribute to the building of a harmonious and warm international neighborhood where people from all cultures live happily together.
