On April 24, a delegation of media professionals from 10 Arab countries visited Dongguan Binhaiwan Bay Area for exchanges and tours. The delegation explored artificial intelligence industry platforms, tech-driven consumption experience venues and high-end commercial spaces, gaining a firsthand experience of the area's development achievements and its open image as a featured cooperation platform within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The delegation's first stop was the National AI Application Pilot Base. Through site visits and technical briefings, the guests gained insights into the key stages involved in moving AI technologies from laboratories to industrial applications, as well as the one-stop service system featuring "technology verification, pilot testing and maturation, and product incubation".
At the Z·Pilot Tech Experience Space, the delegation got hands-on with more than 100 cutting-edge tech-driven consumer products across a range of scenarios, including wearable devices, AI-powered desktop robots, smart home devices and AI-powered collaborative office systems. Many delegates remarked that the model of deeply integrating technology with consumption scenarios is both innovative and worth promoting.
At the OPPO Smart Park in Binhaiwan Bay Area, the delegates tested OPPO's latest foldable smartphone, the Find N6. They praised its smooth user experience and ultra-thin, seamless design.
The delegation concluded its visit at MIXC VILLAGE, which features a wide range of international brands. The open-air blocks, distinctive architecture and seasonal art installations complement each other. Walking through the area, the guests experienced the relaxing vibe of "shopping as a getaway."
Located at the geographic center of the Greater Bay Area, Binhaiwan Bay Area is a core platform for Dongguan to advance high-level opening-up. In recent years, the area has continuously introduced high-quality global resources, improved its business environment and enhanced urban functions and living quality. It has become an important window showcasing Dongguan's development into a modern city.
