From robot-brewed coffee to insider guide: INFO Guangdong welcomes global Canton Fair buyers

On April 15, the 139th Canton Fair officially opened in Guangzhou, the provincial capital of Guangdong. To better serve global buyers, INFO Guangdong, a one-stop information and news service platform, distributed the bilingual "2026 Guangdong Facts" brochure at high-traffic locations popular with international visitors.

At the same time, a public-welfare giveaway of robot-brewed coffee was launched at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

"I came here specifically for this coffee machine!"

At the International Service Centers in Terminals 2 and 3 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, two fully automated robotic coffee machines have become a star attraction. With flexible robotic arms picking cups, extracting espresso, frothing milk, and even creating latte art, a steaming cup of coffee is ready in just a few minutes.

"The process of immigration was very fast, and then I received a cup of free coffee, which is really nice for all the long travel to China. Thanks for that," said a Spanish buyer.

"Surprisingly, as soon as I got off the plane, I saw the exact machine I'm looking for—the smart robotic coffee maker. I had done some research and knew that Guangdong is where this kind of equipment is made," said a British buyer.

He also praised INFO Guangdong's attentive service. "The coffee tastes really good. You are very helpful and explained everything I needed to know."

Besides the coffee service, INFO Guangdong has carefully prepared the bilingual "2026 Guangdong Facts" brochure and distributed it at key locations, including the Canton Fair Complex, entry-exit ports, airport, metro stations, commercial districts, duty-free shops, and hotels.

It covers practical information such as investment opportunities, living services, and cultural and travel tips, all aimed at helping global buyers get to know and settle into Guangdong more easily.

A buyer from Dubai gave high praise to both the design and content. "The design looks good. Secondly, I can see a lot of information about the financials that are also really beneficial for anyone who comes to Guangdong for the first time. Thirdly, the information is very concise."

He also noted that the section on commonly used apps in China is particularly important. "Many people don't know what apps to use. They come to China and still rely on Google. Even when I first arrived here, I had no idea about any apps, so this is also a very important part."

An Egyptian buyer was impressed with the cultural and travel information in the brochure. "I wanted to learn about city landmarks, natural scenery, and historical and cultural sites. The brochure has all of that. With it, we can explore Guangdong much better."
