A group of 50 overseas travel trade representatives and travel influencers left Jiangmen for Shanwei on October 20 to kick off a two-day, one-night inspection tour. Covering intangible cultural heritage sites, the scenic Honghai Bay and the bustling streetscape of Erma Road, the group explored on foot and captured footage to share Shanwei's distinctive coastal tourism charm with the world.

Discovering folk traditions and scenic wonders
The group visited Fengshan Ancestral Temple, an important center of Mazu culture in eastern Guangdong, followed by the Shanwei Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, where exhibits highlighted the city's traditional fishing songs and crafts.
In the afternoon, the group explored the Sea Castle and Nanhai Guanyin Temple in the Honghai Bay Tourist Area, capturing the coastal scenery and sharing photos on social media.

Savoring local flavors and nightlife
The group explored Erma Road as part of the "Guangdong Magical Night Carnival" program, sampling local specialties such as vegetable tea, thin pancakes and oysters. Travel trade representatives praised Shanwei's vibrant night economy and its appeal to overseas visitors.
