On September 17, the exhibition "Love and Peace—Exhibition of Feng Zikai's Art" opened at the Hengqin Culture & Art Complex.
As the pioneer of modern Chinese comic art, Mr. Feng Zikai created countless beloved works throughout his life. With his distinctive freehand Chinese ink brush style, he captured the beauty of everyday moments while conveying deeper meanings and subtle charm.
This exhibition features 200 selected masterpieces of Feng's comics across different periods and themes, along with 20 personal items and published books from his lifetime. Divided into four chapters, it offers a comprehensive presentation of Feng's artistic achievements and humanistic spirit.
The exhibition will officially open to the public on September 20. Visitors can now reserve free tickets in advance through real-name registration via the "Hengqin Wentitong (橫琴文體通)" WeChat mini program. The exhibition will last until November 21.
During the exhibition, the organizers will host a series of public education activities, including expert-led tours and specially designed creation courses for primary and secondary school students. These programs aim to help the public, especially young people, appreciate Feng's works while inspiring their own creativity. A specially designed photo zone has been set up for visitors to interact and capture memorable moments.
In addition, building on this exhibition, Hengqin and Macao have jointly launched a special internship program, which attracted nearly 100 Macao youth applicants. Twelve outstanding candidates were selected to participate deeply in exhibition operations, promotion, design, and interpretation, providing Macao youth with a platform to engage in cultural development within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
