Looking for family-friendly ways to enjoy the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday? From October 1–8, Guangzhou offers a rich lineup of activities—movie premieres, traditional craft workshops, garden explorations, and immersive museum experiences—ensuring something new to enjoy every day.
Festive Carnival
Grandview Mall has transformed into a boundless "open art theater," staging over ten types of performances, including martial arts, traditional Chinese music, street dance, and acrobatics, creating an immersive experience where "every step brings new wonders."

Interactive activities such as stamp rallies and a folk arts talent contest invite the public to showcase their creativity. Each venue also offers themed highlights, from the underwater heritage show at the Grandview Aquarium to rainforest-inspired performances at the Grandview Rainforest and an ice-and-snow sports fest at the Grandview Penguin Snow World.
Adding to the festive spirit, exhibitions like the "Grandview Planet Art Corridor" and the "Identity V" pop-up draw young visitors, while multiple holiday promotions further enhance consumer excitement.
Family Favorite Movies
This year's holiday film slate features over ten major releases, including blockbusters like The Volunteers: Peace at Last, A Writer's Odyssey II, and Row to Win. Families can enjoy animated hits such as I Am Bond: GG Bond, Three Kingdoms: Starlit Heroes, and Panda Plan 2. Reality-based films like Sons of the Neon Night, Sound of Silence, and The Return of the Lame Hero, also hit theaters.
