While Guangzhou lacks the icy winter scenes of the north, the city welcomes its own seasonal "snow" as plum blossoms come into bloom. As January unfolds, parks and scenic spots across Guangzhou transform into fragrant seas of flowers, inviting residents and visitors to enjoy the spectacle.

Luogang Xiangxue Park (香雪公园)

Luogang Xiangxue Park, with more than 3,780 plum trees, is one of Guangzhou's most iconic plum blossom destinations. Featuring varieties such as green, pink, vermilion, green-calyx, and beauty plums, the park reaches peak bloom around January 3, offering a "ten miles of plum forests" spectacle amid pavilions, bridges, and flowing streams.
