The Liuxi Greenway Leisure Cycling Route is a long-distance leisure route centered on Jiekou Street, running along both banks of the Liuxi River and extending east to Wenquan(hot spring) Town and west to Taiping Town. What's more, this route passes through multiple attractions including Fengyunling Park and hot spring scenic areas, and the amenities along the way are convenient for cyclists.

The inclusion of the four routes among China's premium cycling routes reflects Guangzhou's efforts to leverage its location in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and its strong ecological foundation. The city has continued to improve supporting facilities such as cycling greenways, signage systems and supply stations, while actively hosting a range of cycling events and professional competitions across the GBA, promoting the wider adoption and higher standards of cycling.
