Qingyuan Chimelong Forest Kingdom's first twin cotton-top tamarin babies made their public debut on November 13.

The cotton-top tamarin is one of the world's smallest and rarest primates, classified as "Critically Endangered" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
According to Kan Tao, an animal keeper at Qingyuan Chimelong, the twins were born on October 10, each weighing about 48–50 grams at birth. Their arrival brings the park's cotton-top tamarin family to a total of 10 individuals.

To date, Qingyuan Chimelong has successfully bred over 58 primate species, setting a world record for the largest number of primate species in conservation.
