The prime time to see Jiangmen's bald cypresses is from mid-December to late January. In mid to late December, a mix of green, yellow, and red creates richly layered colors, while by January, large areas turn deep red, offering a bold, immersive scene. The best times for photos are from 9:00–11:00 a.m. or 3:00–5:00 p.m., avoiding harsh midday light.
For photography: wear light or warm-toned outfits (white, beige, caramel) to complement the scenery. For portraits, crouch along boardwalks with the forest as a backdrop; for landscapes, capture water reflections and the linear depth of trails and trees; aerial shots are ideal for showcasing the forest's sweeping scale.
