The 2026 Greater Bay Area Inter-city Cycling Challenge (Luoding Station) will take place on January 10–11, featuring two categories: the Full-distance Challenge (70 km) and the Parent-child Experience (28 km). Nearly 600 cyclists are expected to take part in this exciting ride.

The Full-distance Challenge route connects Luoding's rich natural landscapes and cultural heritage. Starting from the Cultural Square of Luoding (罗定市文化广场), the course winds through six towns and subdistricts—Luocheng Subdistrict (罗城街道), Sulong Subdistrict (素龙街道), Shengjiang Town (生江镇), Luoping Town (罗平镇), Lianzhou Town (连州镇), and Lishao Town (黎少镇)—offering riders scenic views of Shiniushan Forest Park (石牛山森林公园), Jinyin Lake National Wetland Park (金银湖国家湿地公园), Lianzhou Battle Memorial Park (连州战斗纪念公园), Niujiaoba Village in Lishao Town (黎少镇牛角坝村), as well as two national 3A rated tourist attractions (a mid-tier rating in China's national tourist attraction classification system): Changgangpo Cultural Leisure Tourism Area (长岗坡文化休闲旅游区), and Liang Family Manor (梁家庄园景区).

The Parent-child Experience route also begins and ends at the Cultural Square of Luoding, passing through Luocheng Subdistrict, Sulong Subdistrict, Shengjiang Town, and Shiniushan Forest Park before reaching Jinyin Lake National Wetland Park and returning. Along the way, participants can enjoy the lush scenery of Shiniushan Forest Park and the tranquil wetlands of Jinyin Lake.

To enhance the experience, the six towns and subdistricts along the route will host intangible cultural heritage displays, themed booths, and live performances at supply stations, allowing cyclists to immerse themselves in the distinctive local culture.
