Naxing Village's rural market opens, blending art and agriculture in Yangjiang

Recently, the rural market in Naxing Village, Chunwan Town, Yangchun, Yangjiang City, officially opened and quickly became a popular rural tourism destination, thanks to its striking karst landscapes and diverse cultural experiences. On the first day of the 2026 New Year holiday alone, the village received more than 10,000 visitors.

Surrounded by open fields and limestone peaks, visitors stroll along boardwalks through rice paddies, stopping at landmarks such as scarecrow displays and ancient banyan trees. A wooden gallery and the Rice Field Café stand out, hosting an art exhibition featuring works by provincial artists and professors from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, merging art with nature.

The nearby farmer-run market offers local specialties such as spring amomum, tengzai sweet potatoes, and taro cakes, while white plum blossoms in a neighboring ecological orchard add an elegant touch to the winter scenery. By combining art, local food, leisure, and pastoral scenery, Naxing Village has created an immersive rural tourism experience that supports rural revitalization and sustainable development.
