Firecrackers
Orange-red clusters spill like strings of firecrackers in late winter and early spring, peaking around the Lunar New Year. Their blazing color is the season's most festive sign of new beginnings.

Pink trumpet trees
From December to March, pink trumpet trees paint roads and riversides in delicate pink. If you missed the citywide peak, these spots should still be in bloom.
