According to @Weather Guangdong, from October 17 to 18, Guangdong will still be under the influence of the subtropical high, resulting in low humidity at lower levels. The weather will be predominantly sunny and dry, with scattered (thunder) showers in some areas and (light) fog in the morning and evening in select cities and counties.
From October 19 to 22, a moderate-intensity cold air mass will impact Guangdong from north to south, causing temperatures to drop gradually.

The lowest temperatures in cities and counties in northern Guangdong, eastern Guangdong, and the Pearl River Delta region will occur on the mornings of October 22 or 23. Specifically, minimum temperatures will be 12–15°C in the northern parts of northern Guangdong, 14–16°C in the northern Pearl River Delta and other cities and counties in northern Guangdong, and 17–20°C elsewhere. The lowest temperature in western Guangdong will occur on the morning of October 23.
Additionally, a tropical disturbance is developing over the ocean east of the Philippines and is expected to move into the South China Sea on October 19. Under the combined effects of the cold air and the convergence of the peripheral circulation of the tropical system, precipitation in the southern cities and counties of Guangdong is expected to increase significantly from October 21 to 23, with localized heavy rain or torrential rain.

On October 18, Shaoguan, Qingyuan, and Zhaoqing will be cloudy to overcast with scattered (thunder) showers. Coastal cities and counties in the south will experience scattered (thunder) showers in the afternoon, while most other areas will be sunny to cloudy with isolated showers. Maximum temperatures will be 27–30°C in northern Shaoguan and northern Qingyuan, 30–32°C in other areas of northern Guangdong and coastal cities and counties in western Guangdong, and 33–35°C in most other regions.
On October 19, cities and counties in eastern Guangdong will be cloudy to overcast with scattered showers. Coastal cities and counties in the southern Pearl River Delta and western Guangdong will see scattered showers transitioning to cloudy skies, while other areas will be overcast to cloudy. Maximum temperatures will be 22–27°C in northern Qingyuan and northern Shaoguan, 28–31°C in other areas of northern Guangdong and northern cities and counties in the Pearl River Delta, and 31–33°C in most other regions.
On October 20, cities and counties in eastern Guangdong will be cloudy to overcast with scattered showers, while most other cities and counties will be mostly cloudy. Maximum temperatures will be 19–24°C in northern Qingyuan and northern Shaoguan, 25–28°C in other areas of northern Guangdong and northern cities and counties in the Pearl River Delta, and 28–30°C in most other regions.
