The 2025 "IP×FOSHAN" Meitao Bay International Creation and Cooperation Exchange Event was held recently in Chancheng District, Foshan City.

The event attracted representatives from 20 international institutions, including the Italian Cartoon Animation Association, the Thai Trend Artists Alliance, and American independent animation studios, along with more than 50 domestic IP art toy enterprises and 40 leading local enterprises in Foshan engaged in ceramics, furniture, and the cultural and creative industries.

During the event, international trend art masters participated in a field trip to cultural landmarks and brand stores in Foshan, such as Foshan Ancestral Temple, Meitao Bay, and the HEA Dragon and Lion Cultural and Creative Pavilion.

Italian artist Bertil Butturini remarked after the field trip, "The 'smoke and fire' of Shiwan ceramic art collides with the 'pioneering spirit' of international trends to create wonderful sparks, which is exactly the core of cross-border innovation."

At the "Hongweigang Night" event in Meitao Bay, more than 50 individuals and institutions with a deep appreciation for Lingnan culture and exceptional creativity were recognized as "Lingnan Culture Partners."

The event also featured the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement between IP BANK and the Lingnan Cultural and Creative IP 100 Plan, as well as the launch of the 2025 Lingnan Cultural and Creative IP 100 Plan.

The in-depth collaboration between IP BANK and the Lingnan Cultural and Creative IP 100 Plan will further enhance the global dissemination and revitalization of Lingnan culture. By introducing top-tier global IP creative resources, Lingnan culture will be reborn in a more innovative form.

"Italians excel at storytelling, while Chinese people possess strong hands-on skills and exceptional craftsmanship. The two sides can integrate their respective strengths for creative purposes," said Cristian Jezdic, founder of BeQ entertainment and head of internationalization of the Italian Animation Producers Association. He added that he plans to introduce more cultural and creative talents and resources from Italy and Europe to Foshan in the future to deepen exchanges.
