The 8th China International Circus Festival officially opened on November 1, 2025, at the Chimelong Hengqin Resort in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The event brings together 18 elite circus troupes from around the world and nearly 500 artists.

Since its launch in 2013, the festival has become a key platform for cultural exchange between Chinese and international circus arts. This year’s event features a wide range of performances, including acrobatics, dance, comedy, and magic, with several acts having won international circus awards. Performers come from countries including Russia, the United States, Mexico, Mongolia, and China.

The festival also aims to enhance regional cultural tourism. Beginning in mid-October, Chimelong Hengqin introduced a “Circus Carnival Month,” integrating circus-themed activities into its theme park, hotels, and parade routes.

From November 2 to 7, the resort will host special “Circus Festival Limited Shows” each morning at the Kaka Theatre, allowing more visitors to experience the performances.
