On September 11, a collective topping-out ceremony for ongoing projects in the Integrated Circuit Industrial Park, along with the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ada Intelligent Equipment Project, was held in Wanqingsha Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou City.
A total of four projects were topped out or broke ground simultaneously, including the Ada Intelligent Equipment Headquarters, the Raytron Autonomous Driving System R&D and Production Base, the Greater Bay Area Semiconductor High-End Equipment Manufacturing Project, and the Ubest Technology (Nansha) New Materials Innovation Industrial Park. The total investment for these projects amounts to approximately 2.75 billion yuan.
The Ada Intelligent Equipment Headquarters will serve as the national headquarters and future listing entity of Guangdong ADA Semiconductor Equipment Ltd. The first phase covers an area of 20 mu (about 1.33 hectares) with a total investment of 200 million yuan. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value exceeding 500 million yuan in its first year.
He Yunbo, Chairman of ADA Semiconductor, stated that the completion of the project will boost the development of Nansha's integrated circuit industry cluster, attract upstream and downstream supporting enterprises, and form a more complete industrial chain. It will also enhance the technological level of the semiconductor equipment industry and promote the upgrading of Nansha's integrated circuit and high-end equipment sectors.
In addition, the launch of the Ada Intelligent Equipment Headquarters signifies an important milestone for Wanqingsha Town's first self-led, full-cycle preparatory initiative.
Now, Wanqingsha Integrated Circuit Industrial Park spans approximately 10 square kilometers and is currently home to 31 enterprises, including 18 above designated size. The park has formed an industrial development profile characterized by new energy vehicle applications, semiconductor lighting, and power electronics.
