Among the newly included projects is the municipal engineering for the Inner Ring Road (Great Bay University section), which is set to commence in 2025. This project aims to enhance infrastructure and is seen as a crucial step toward bolstering high-quality development in the region.

The Inner Ring Road project, located in the Weiyuan Island section of the Binhaiwan New Area, will connect the southern side of the Great Bay University campus to the existing Inner Ring Road, covering a total length of approximately 1.3 kilometers. With an investment of 84 million RMB, the roadway will feature a 20-meter-wide, two-lane design for the segment leading to the university's main entrance and a 27-meter-wide, four-lane design for the section leading to the project’s endpoint. The road is designed for a speed limit of 30 km/h and is expected to provide a safer and more efficient travel experience for students, faculty, and residents.

Focusing on future industries, Binhaiwan is committed to advancing core technologies in humanoid robotics. One significant project is the establishment of the South China Regional Headquarters and Humanoid Robot Core Component R&D Base by Leadshine Intelligent Technology, with a total investment of 350 million RMB and a planned area of 25 acres. This facility will integrate operational resources in South China, serving as both a headquarters and a production and sales base for humanoid robot components.

Additionally, the ecological seawall project (Binhaiwan Bridge - Macao Terminal) will be constructed on the southeastern side of the Shajiao Peninsula, with a total investment of 280 million RMB. This project will create a 2.12-kilometer ecological seawall, incorporating soft foundation treatment, embankment construction, ecological shoreline restoration, and wave-dissipation facilities, ultimately serving as a "coastal lifeline" for flood protection, environmental restoration, and landscape enhancement.

Lastly, the first phase of transportation infrastructure in the Macao Terminal area, located in the Shajiao Peninsula section, is set to receive approximately 162 million RMB in funding. This initiative will introduce three new roads—Zhandong Road, Qianwan Road, and Hengsi Road—spanning a total of about 2,034 meters. The upgrades will improve traffic flow and strengthen the port's logistics capabilities, significantly enhancing the region's comprehensive capacity for development.
