Pure Beethoven: Antje Weithaas & Dénes Várjon Play the Complete Beethoven Sonatas for Piano & Violin

Violinist Antje Weithaas, winner of the 2025 Opus Klassik Award, and pianist Dénes Várjon come together for a monumental three-day performance of all ten Beethoven sonatas for violin and piano. As part of the 5th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture and Arts Festival, this will be their first time bringing this complete work to China. The program will highlight the richness and contrasts of Beethoven's music, including the grand finale, the G major sonata, which foreshadows the romanticism that would follow.

Juilliard String Quartet Concert

The world-renowned Juilliard String Quartet, founded in 1946, brings its rich musical legacy to Guangzhou. The acclaimed quartet will perform Beethoven's String Quartet No. 15 in A minor, Op. 132 and Dvořák's String Quartet No. 12 in F Major, Op. 96 "American", both iconic works of the string quartet repertoire.
