Huizhou's Huiyang to launch direct high-speed rail services to link Wuhan, Zhengzhou, and Yueyang

Huizhou's Huiyang Railway Station will implement the new train operation schedule starting January 26, with a daily service of 161 high-speed trains. This is the first time the station will launch direct high-speed rail service G2691/4 to Zhengzhou East Railway Station. The station will also introduce new direct services to Yueyang East Railway Station and Wuhan Railway Station, further expanding its cross-provincial travel network.

To meet commuting demand in the Guangzhou-Huizhou area, the number of daily trains from Huiyang Railway Station to Guangzhou South Railway Station will increase from the current 9 to 20 services per day.

To provide a better travel experience, Huiyang Railway Station has activated an "easy transfer" channel within the station. Previously, passengers transferring between trains had to exit the station, undergo ticket checks and security screening again, and then re-enter. With the new channel, passengers holding connecting tickets can transfer directly via a dedicated passage in the station.
