On February 5, a high-speed branded train jointly named by the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and the Service Centre for Economy and Trade between China and Portuguese/Spanish-speaking Countries (CECPS) departed from Guangzhou South Station, utilizing China's high-speed rail network to amplify Hengqin's economic influence across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The designated train G2264 features vibrant exterior graphics showcasing the dynamic symbol of Hengqin. Inside, the carriages have been transformed into immersive brand showrooms, detailing CECPS's ten core service functions, focusing on connecting Hengqin and Macao, as well as linking Lusophone and Hispanic markets.

Guests at the launch ceremony, including senior officials from Hengqin and CECPS, boarded the train to experience it firsthand before its inaugural journey.

The branding campaign is designed to maximize regional exposure. It is projected to reach nearly 500,000 passengers and generate over one million brand impressions, specifically targeting core economic hubs such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Hong Kong.
By aligning with the "China Speed" of the high-speed train, Hengqin aims to bridge the gap between Chinese enterprises and international markets, particularly in Portuguese and Spanish-speaking nations.
Cao Jinfeng, Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of Hengqin, emphasized that this train serves as a window for investors and professionals to recognize Hengqin and Macao as the first stop for global expansion.

CECPS itself stands as a unique non-profit entity co-founded by the Macao SAR Government and the Hengqin Executive Committee. It remains the only cross-border service platform in China specifically dedicated to Lusophone and Hispanic markets, focusing on six major industries, including bulk trade, digital economy, and high-end manufacturing.
Wu Yanxiang, Vice Chairperson of CECPS's Board of Directors, noted that the goal of this high-speed rail branding is to help enterprises going global understand CECPS's comprehensive support ecosystem, which integrates culture, law, finance, and industry.
She also stated that by providing one-stop professional services—ranging from legal consulting to logistics and financial backing—CECPS aims to foster a win-win environment that assists Chinese firms in entering foreign markets while attracting international resources to the Hengqin-Macao region.
