On December 5, the "2025 Nansha Port Fresh Market Cherry Carnival" kicked off in Longxue Sub-district of Nansha District in Guangzhou, featuring a container opening ceremony for the new season of Chilean cherries.

At 10 a.m., guests and visitors gathered for the container opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 Chilean cherry season. They experienced the "first taste of freshness" with bright red, plump cherries in premium sizes.

The event also highlighted the benefits of direct supply chains. Zhuang Ping, a shop owner at the market, noted that thanks to the "immediate docking, unloading, and sale" model, Chilean cherries at the port market are more affordable and of higher quality than those found elsewhere.

In addition to cherries, the fresh market was bustling with activity. Durians, blueberries, strawberries, coconuts, jade pomelos, and snake fruits were displayed in abundance, alongside Australian steaks, deep-sea catches, specialty drinks, and agricultural products, meeting all shopping and tasting needs in one place.

This carnival will last for three days and is attracting visitors from Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, and beyond, including fans attending Mayday's concert.
