The third Hengqin and Macao Blossom Carnival opened on the afternoon of November 15 at Rest Station No. 1 of the Hengqin Flower Sea Corridor. The event, which runs until December 6, is held every Saturday from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM over four weeks, each with a distinct theme, offering residents and tourists new ways to enjoy their weekends.

The opening weekend focused on an artistic stroll where the natural flower sea met with art, music, dance, interactive workshops, and a food market taking turns to entertain visitors.
At 2:30 PM, a public art installation inspired by natural flowers and created by young artists from Hengqin and Macao was unveiled. Artists explained their creative concepts, encouraging public participation in artistic creation to foster a co-creation experience where everyone can be an artist.
The "Bloom Stage Theater" set up five themed performance points along the route, featuring a rotating program of performances. Bubble shows and art parades wove through the flower sea, transforming the entire corridor into a flowing stage and creating an immersive, painting-like journey for visitors, complete with constant laughter and the sound of cameras clicking.
The "Let's Create Art Together" interactive zone was equally popular, with workshops on cyanotype, weaving, eco-friendly hand-painting, floral art, and nature scrapbooking drawing long queues.
Parents and children used sunlight to preserve the shadows of plants, making the hands-on experience meaningful and allowing families to feel the warmth of cultural integration between Hengqin and Macao.
The "Flower Sea Market" opened simultaneously, featuring over 30 specialty stalls from Guangdong and Macao offering coffee, light meals, cultural creations, and handicrafts, adding a touch of daily life and urban warmth to the flower sea.
The event is not only a cultural and tourism highlight but also an important practice in building a high-quality living circle that is livable, business-friendly, and enjoyable within Hengqin, fostering shared development and integration.
