In anticipation of the 15th National Games, Nanshan District is set to unveil the Yuehai Subdistrict Cultural and Sports Center — an integrated hub combining a gymnasium, natatorium, and cultural center that will provide residents with one-stop access to cultural, fitness, and leisure activities.

Located at No. 1 Gaoxin South Ring Road, the center spans 40,000 square meters on a 5,760-square-meter site. The 69.5-meter-tall complex includes 12 above-ground floors and three basement levels, featuring fully integrated facilities.
Beyond its gymnasium, natatorium, and cultural hall, the center boasts a signature climbing wall, part of Nanshan's "One-Venue-One-Specialty" initiative. Additional amenities include a community health clinic and fitness assessment zones.

Reflecting its human-centered design, the center offers stroller parking at the main entrance and a newly opened café serving drinks and light meals. These thoughtful touches make the facility a vibrant social hub, blending athletic activities with community relaxation.
The center stands as a dynamic architectural showcase, merging serene humanities spaces — libraries and family reading nooks — with smart-reservation art zones on its lower levels.
The middle floors are alive with colorful sports facilities centered around the signature Sky Lounge, which connects community courts with panoramic terraces.

At its peak, the complex houses southern China's premier indoor climbing circuits and versatile stadiums equipped with retractable seating.
