Guangzhou's Nansha District is preparing to welcome a series of premier international fighting game tournaments this December, highlighting its push to develop the digital culture industry and create youth-friendly urban spaces.
Scheduled across two weekends (Dec. 14 and Dec. 20-21) under the "Kuaishou King Fightclub Championship VI · Nansha" banner, the event will feature top-tier competitive circuits.
The action begins on Dec. 14 with the Capcom Pro Tour 2025: World Warrior-Chinese Mainland Regional Final. Eight elite players will compete in Street Fighter™ 6 for a coveted spot in the global finals of this prestigious circuit, which boasts a 2025 season prize pool exceeding $2 million.
The following weekend (Dec. 20-21) will see the debut of an ARC World Tour 2025-2026 Gold-level event in Nansha. This official global series features popular titles like Guilty Gear-Strive- and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. Concurrently, the venue will host what is expected to be the largest Super Smash Bros.™ Ultimate open tournament in Asia this year.
Top competitors from each game will advance to the final stages on Dec. 21 to contend for championship titles, significant prizes, and the honor of representing China on the global stage.
