On September 6, Maria Fernanda Lay, Speaker of the National Parliament of East Timor, and her delegation visited Baiyun Power Group.
Fernanda Lay expressed that the visit provided her with a more direct understanding of China's advancements in green and smart energy development, intelligent manufacturing, and the application of new materials.
She also emphasized that East Timor and China have long maintained a sincere and profound friendship and are important trade partners. In recent years, the two countries have achieved substantial results under the Belt and Road Initiative. Currently, East Timor is committed to its electric power and energy transition and looks forward to deeper exchanges and cooperation with China in areas such as new energy development.
