Why This Experience Pass?

This program is among the first major initiatives launched after the June 2025 memorandum of cooperation between the Qianhai Authority and the Hong Kong Talent Service Office. It aims to enhance talent recruitment and foster a globally competitive innovation and business ecosystem.

"The 72-Hour Experience Pass is more than a ticket—it's a dialogue, a window, and the beginning of a meaningful career. We hope this immersive experience helps global talent discover, settle, and thrive in the Greater Bay Area," said a Qianhai Authority representative.

Who Can Apply?

This pass is designed for overseas professionals interested in working or starting a business in Hong Kong or Shenzhen, with a focus on three key groups:

Why Shenzhen-Hong Kong?

Hong Kong, a key hub of the Greater Bay Area, leverages its unique "one country, two systems" advantage to act as a super-connector between the Chinese mainland and global markets. Climbing from 16th to 9th in the 2024 World Talent Ranking, it reflects the city's rising appeal to international professionals.

Shenzhen ranks among China's most globally connected cities, welcoming 2.76 million international visitors in 2024—the second-highest nationwide. It also leads in immigration innovation, with specialized visa policies tailored for talent in the Greater Bay Area.

Qianhai, the strategic cooperation zone between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, sits at the center of the Greater Bay Area's "one-hour living circle." With 10 cross-border bus routes and four sea routes linking to Hong Kong in under an hour—and a planned Western Rail Link set to reduce travel time to just 15 minutes—Qianhai seamlessly blends opportunity with lifestyle.
