The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Cultural Experience Museum will open with a two-day Carnival Market on July 19-20 at the Hengqin Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Cooperation between Guangdong and Macao.
This free public event celebrates TCM heritage through a vibrant fusion of traditional and contemporary experiences. Visitors can enjoy complimentary consultations with renowned TCM physicians, participate in intangible cultural heritage craft workshops, savor specialty snacks at the gourmet market, and enjoy live musical performances. The festivities offer an immersive weekend journey into TCM culture.
The museum will open its doors on July 19 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, with free guided tours departing every half hour until 4:30 PM. On July 20, operations extend from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, featuring guided tours during the morning (9:30-11:00 AM) and afternoon (2:00-4:30 PM) sessions, with last admission at 4:30 PM both days. Guests are invited to explore interactive exhibits, create hands-on herbal crafts, and capture memorable moments.
The TCM Doctors' Hall of Fame will also be launched, where distinguished practitioners will conduct one-on-one consultations. Attendees can also experience TCM therapies.
The venue is conveniently accessible via Bus Routes Z51/Z52. Ample roadside parking is also available for drivers. No reservations are required for this entirely free event – all are welcome to bring family and friends.
