The 3rd Hengqin Lotus Festival has come to a close. Award-winning photos from the festival's photography contest will be showcased both online and offline until late August.
Since its launch on June 10, the photography contest attracted photography lovers, with a total of 457 entries submitted. There were 410 valid submissions and 1,119 photos in total. After a rigorous review by the judging panel, 35 outstanding works were selected for first, second, third, and merit prizes.
These entries will be exhibited at the Lotus Garden of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin (橫琴粵澳深度合作區荷花園) until late August, offering the public a chance to experience the charm of the Lotus Festival.
Though the festival has ended, the cultural connection between Hengqin and Macao through the lotus blossoms will continue to flourish.
