Let the words come alive! Guangzhou Library launches interactive VR space for readers

Words come alive at Guangzhou Library's new Future Reading Library, launched on July 10. Equipped with VR headsets, this space offers visitors an immersive literary experience through dynamic virtual worlds.

The Future Reading Library features an immersive interactive space spanning nearly 300 square meters, designed with a striking black-and-white color scheme. The floors and walls are adorned with creative graffiti, showcasing elements such as rockets, symbols from Sanxingdui, and dinosaurs. Arranged in a casual yet cohesive layout, these elements symbolically reflect the themes of various experiential projects.

Guangzhou Library has launched four interactive experience scenes: The Call of Sanxingdui, Mars Mission, Jurassic World in Earth's Core, and Return to the Pyramid.

The Library has curated a collection of more than 700 books in the Future Reading Library, encouraging readers to deepen their understanding of relevant cultural knowledge through extended reading inspired by the virtual experience.

The Future Reading Library will continue to innovate by launching new content and IPs, upgrading virtual technologies, and providing IP-derived cultural and creative products, ensuring that readers enjoy fresh, engaging experiences with every visit.
