Jongkyu Park's solo exhibition underway at Guangdong Museum of Art (BAI'ETAN)

On August 5, 2025, "Jongkyu Park's Solo Exhibition: Phantom of Bitstream" opened at the Guangdong Museum of Art (BAI'ETAN).

The exhibition features four representative series by Jongkyu Park: Embodiment, Vertical Time, Noosphere, and ~Kreuzen, showcasing his explorations in media strategies and visual language.

As a key figure in contemporary South Korean art, Jongkyu Park integrates Eastern and Western thinking into his creations, which embody "Visual Philosophy." His work spans multiple fields, including painting, installation, and media art, focusing on the coexistence of individuals and digital information in the virtual world. He transforms "bitstream" into a symbol of consciousness, perception, and even life rhythms.

This exhibition offers new insights for Chinese abstract art in navigating the relationships between images and information, as well as matter and coding.
