During the 2025 International Wing Tsun Championship, the Mahua FunAge musical Wing Tsun will return to Foshan's Nanhai once again! Wing Tsun—a musical inspired by Nanhai's Kung Fu culture, and co-produced by Nanhai and the domestic performance company Mahua FunAge—will debut at the Nanhai Grand Theater in late July, with tickets now available online.

"Wing Tsun" is an outstanding representative of Chinese martial arts, and "Foshan Wing Tsun" was recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2021.
Wing Tsun is Nanhai's first large-scale original stage production and Mahua FunAge's 2024 blockbuster musical. It premiered in late 2024 and embarked on a nationwide tour following its debut in Foshan.

According to the schedule, Wing Tsun will be performed in Nanhai from July 31 to August 3 this year. The International Wing Tsun Championship will be held in Nanhai annually for three consecutive years starting in 2024. From July 26 to 30, the 2025 International Wing Tsun Championship will take place at the Qiaoshan Cultural Center in Nanhai.

Wing Tsun centers on the theme of the legacy of Wing Tsun, using authentic martial arts techniques such as fist and knife forms as the foundation for choreography. Blending rap with traditional Lingnan cultural elements, it delivers an exhilarating and adrenaline-pumping battle of Wing Tsun masters for the audience.
