Guangdong sets new participation record as featured guest at 3rd CISCE

The third China International Supply Chain Expo concluded in Beijing on July 20, with Guangdong Province setting a new benchmark by featuring 64 industry flagship enterprises as the guest province of honor.

This marked Guangdong's largest-scale participation for three consecutive sessions, occupying over 4,000 square meters of exhibition space. The participating enterprises represent seven strategic value chains: advanced manufacturing, clean energy, smart automotive, digital technology, healthy living, green agriculture, and supply chain services, including industry giants such as ZTE, TCL, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, XPeng Motors, and DJI.

As a global manufacturing powerhouse, Gdong impressed attendees with 14 world premieres across robotics, biotechnology, and digital trade platforms. NEXWISE unveiled a groundbreaking "land-air" embodied AI robot at the expo, combining machine dog-style mobility with drone flight capabilities specifically designed for emergency rescue operations.

BGI Group showcased a high-throughput gene-testing platform that integrates AI for advanced bioinformatics analysis. SonoScape presented a smart endoscopy platform that leverages AI-powered imaging to enhance early disease screening efficiency.

During the expo, Guangdong and Thailand, the event's guest country of honor, signed a series of landmark agreements to deepen industrial cooperation. The Guangzhou Arbitration Commission and Thailand International Arbitration and Mediation Center committed to enhancing cross-border dispute resolution mechanisms.

The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangzhou Committee and Thailand International Arbitration and Mediation Center established strategic partnerships in trade facilitation.

The China Chamber of International Commerce Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce and the Thai-Chinese Economic Association signed an MOU to strengthen investment and commerce between Guangzhou and Thailand.

Chen Xiaofeng, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee, emphasized leveraging the expo to drive the integration of industrial, innovation, capital, and talent chains. "We aim to help Guangdong enterprises expand markets and forge partnerships while serving as a bridge for global supply chain collaboration," he stated.

Guangdong Province boasts China's most comprehensive industrial system, covering all 31 manufacturing categories and producing approximately 160 industrial products with nationwide leading output volumes. The province holds national leadership in 15 key sectors, including electronic information, smart appliances, advanced materials, and modern textiles.
