Italy Business and Investment Promotion Conference held in Guangzhou

The "Italy Business and Investment Promotion Conference," which is part of GICC’s "World Meets GZ" series, took place on the afternoon of July 9. The event was co-hosted by the GICC and the Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF) and attracted around 80 participants, including representatives from local authorities, business associations, and companies such as GAC International, Guangzhou Public Transport Group, Libai Group, and Guangdong Baolun Electronics, together with the professionals from Italy’s business community to explore new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between China and Italy.

The conference specifically addressed the key concerns of enterprises looking to invest and operate in Italy. It offered comprehensive guidance on several crucial aspects, including the interpretation of investment policies, financial support options, legal compliance, and the establishment of business networks. This created an essential platform for connection and communication between Chinese and Italian businesses. Participants expressed that they gained invaluable insights into Italy's investment environment, benefiting from important policy information and practical guidance that will assist them in their efforts to expand into the Italian market. Overall, the event facilitated meaningful exchanges and strengthened the collaborative ties between the two countries' business communities.
