A delegation of Guangzhou fashion consumer goods enterprises culminated their collective overseas debut with impressive transaction orders at the three-day Asia Fashion (Thailand) Show in Bangkok, which concluded on July 12.
During the exhibition, the Guangzhou enterprises secured over 1,000 single-item orders, and many received intent for orders exceeding 20,000 units. Their display area attracted 15,312 professional buyers from 43 countries, including Thailand's Jaspal Group and Japan's AEON Group’s Indonesia branch, with total attendance surpassing 23,000 visits.
The participating Guangzhou companies at the Asia Fashion (Thailand) Show 2025 represented the textile, apparel, leather goods, and luggage sectors. Many showcased new product launches, original designs, and innovative materials, captivating the international audience with their creativity and advanced craftsmanship. For instance, Guangzhou Minming Leather Factory secured over 1,000 on-the-spot orders on the opening day of the fair.
Fashion consumer goods have been identified by Guangzhou as one of its four key 500-billion-yuan backbone industries. Against the backdrop of global market fluctuations and shifting trade patterns, Guangzhou, historically a commercial hub, is actively driving the sector's transformation through "digital empowerment, green intelligent manufacturing, and brand globalization."
Beyond the exhibition, participating companies conducted organized visits to landmark Thai commercial hubs, including Siam Paragon and Central World, to research the latest trends in Thailand's fashion retail landscape and consumer preferences.
