In celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Thailand, White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou has kicked off a 17-day Thai Culinary Festival. Running from August 1 to 17, the event offers guests an immersive experience of authentic Thai cuisine and traditional performing arts.
The opening ceremony featured captivating performances by the Siam Grace Dance Troupe, including the Thai devotional dance and the graceful umbrella dance from northern Thailand. A Thai chef also showcased his culinary expertise live, setting the tone for a festival rich in flavor and culture.
Under the theme "Golden Jubilee Feast," the event transforms the hotel's River Café into a Thai culinary haven. Guests can enjoy a wide array of authentic Thai dishes—from appetizers and mains to desserts—including the iconic Tom Yum Goong, refreshing green papaya salad, aromatic red curry duck, crispy Thai shrimp cakes, and sweet mango sticky rice.
With panoramic views of the Pearl River and the hotel's famed "Hometown Water" atrium feature, diners can savor Thai flavors in a serene, culturally rich setting.
