On July 16, the Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau (Guangzhou Foreign Experts Affairs Bureau) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Zhoutouzui Immigration Inspection Station of the Guangzhou General Station of Immigration Inspection, marking the beginning of efforts to establish a convenient entry abd exit inspection mechanism for high-end talent.
According to the agreement, both parties will explore providing exclusive entry-exit security services for high-level talent from key technology enterprises in fields such as the internet and artificial intelligence in the Pazhou Area, Haizhu District.
The entry-exit document information of high-level talent recognized by the Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau will be pre-reviewed by the immigration inspection station. These individuals will be able to enjoy "green channel" rapid inspection services during the process of going through entry and exit procedures.

Xie Ming, Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, stated, "Facilitating the flow of international talent is a crucial aspect of building an international center for scientific and technological innovation. We hope that Guangzhou will become an ideal destination where high-end talent from around the world will be eager to come."
"Zhoutouzui Immigration Inspection Station is the only station in Guangzhou for immigration inspection express channel information collection and filing, enabling 'one-stop filing for nationwide sharing,'" introduced Qin Siming, Station Chief of the Zhoutouzui Immigration Inspection Station.
The Pazhou Ferry Terminal falls under the jurisdiction of the Zhoutouzui Border Inspection Station.
The Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau indicated that in the future, it will work with the Baiyun Border Immigration Station and the Zhoutouzui Immigration Inspection Station to continuously optimize the cooperation mechanism.
It will expand the scope of beneficiaries of the services in due course and conduct in-depth research among various talent in scientific research institutions and technology enterprises to actively explore and introduce more innovative measures to facilitate international talent exchanges.
Since pioneering convenient entry-exit measures for high-end talent last year, Guangzhou has successfully assisted hundreds of top international experts in efficient customs clearance, including 2 Nobel laureates and 22 academicians from developed countries.
